I first picked up a camera in middle school and I never put it down. I was constantly taking pictures of friends and family...documenting all the things. After I had kids, I stepped away from teaching and it was then that I decided to pursue my passion for photography. I decided to invest in my craft, not just to capture beautiful images for my family, but to share what I love doing with others. With the love and support of my husband, I'm able to pursue this dream of photographing seniors and families- helping them to document their own memories.

1. With my cherished circle of family and friends. Whether we're embarking on adventurous outings or lounging around sharing laughter and stories, I love being with my people.
2. Traveling. Sometimes it's a vacation and sometimes it's an exploration of a new state, country, or continent. My wanderlust is a desire to collect moments and memories as I experience the world around me.
3. Advocating for my loved ones. I'm a parent to a child with both medical challenges and learning differences. I have spent the last fifteen years navigating a journey that is both complex and challenging at times.
4. At the gym. Recently I've been focusing on light exercise and maintaining my health and weight rather than pushing myself to the limit.

When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me...
I started my photography business at the age of 48, and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Proof that it's never too late to follow your dreams.
I've lived in all four time zones of the continental U.S. I was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from college I spent a year in Boston, MA. After getting married, my young family moved to Colorado for two years before putting down roots here in North Texas.
I've been to forty states and my husband has been to forty-six states. One of our bucket list items is to eventually visit all fifty.
